The Southwest Florida Horseshoe Pitching Club is located in Estero, Florida in the beautiful Estero Park Recreation Center. There are currently 9 clay courts with lights and 2 additional without lights. The courts are always open to the public. The Estero Park Recreation staff has given us full support in starting this club back in 2020. These courts were built for the senior games prior to 2020 and are in great condition. We currently have 4 NHPA sanctioned Singles tournaments each year. One (1) each month of December, January, February and March. Starting in January 2027 we are planning on having 3 NHPA sanctioned Doubles tournaments on Wednesday evenings under the lights. (see schedule for times and dates). The first two years (starting 2020) it was called the Estero Park Horseshoe Club with Ron Womack as President and Tournament Director. It was renamed the Southwest Florida Horseshoe Club in 2023. The courts are located approx. 100+ miles from our closest northern clubs and tournaments. We believe this helps fill a void for seasonal and yearly members who don’t want to travel to sanctioned tournaments.
